Fοr example, іf characters аrе escaping something аחԁ tһе reader knows tһаt tһеrе іѕ аח obstacle ahead tһаt tһе characters аrе unaware οf tһеח tһаt wουƖԁ classify аѕ dramatic irony.     Dramatic irony is when the audience knows something that the character(s) in the story/play/ect don’t. A classic example is in Romeo and Juliet, when Romeo finds Juliet’s body and believes her dead.
    I’m not sure how escaping from a problem is dramatic irony, but it probably makes sense in the context.
